PENERAPAN METODE REALISTIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MATERI MENENTUKAN BILANGAN HASIL PANGKAT TIGA KELAS VI SEMESTER I SD N PRUPUK SELATAN 01

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat siswa kelas VI semester I SD Negeri Prupuk Selatan 01 Kecamatan Margasari  tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VI yang terdiri dari 13 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode realistic, penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada siklus 1 dan 2 pembelajaran dilakukan dengan metode realistic. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode realistik  dapat membantu guru dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas VI semester 1 SD Negeri Prupuk Selatan 01 Kecamatan Margasari ditandai dengan prosentase perolehan hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari kondisi awal hanya 46,15% meningkat pada siklus 1, 68% dan pada siklus 2 atau kondisi akhir menjadi 80,59% ini berarti telah mencapai target ketuntasan belajar yang ditetapkan yaitu 70%.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to increase the activity and the result of the students' learning on the subject matter of the counting operation of the sixth grade students in the first semester of SD Negeri Prupuk Selatan 01 Margasari District in the academic year 2015/2016 with the subject of the study of the sixth grade students consists of 13 students. This research uses realistic method, classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages of activity that is planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In cycles 1 and 2 the learner is done by realistic method. The results of this study show that the application of realistic methods can help teachers in improving student learning activities and can improve outcomes learning the counting operation of the sixth grade students in the first semester of SD Negeri Prupuk Selatan 01 Margasari District marked by the percentage of learning achievement results of students increased from the initial conditions only 46.15% increase in cycle 1, 68% and in cycle 2 or end condition becomes 80,59% it means have reached target of learning completeness which set that is 70%
